Waste Water Collection System

The wastewater collection system consists of more than 260 miles of publicly owned collection lines (8 to 42 inches in diameter), approximately 6,400 manholes, and 12 wastewater pump stations. The primary purpose of the collection system is to convey wastewater in a manner that protects the public’s safety and health as well as protecting the environment. The collection system is managed, operated and maintained in a manner that will permit it to deliver a high level of service, protect public health and personal property, and safeguard the environment.
