PARK CITY, UT. (December 18, 2024) — The Snyderville Basin Water Reclamation District calculates a monthly “flush Index” for the purpose of estimating the number of visitors (visitor nights) that were present in the Park City/Snyderville Basin area. Listed below is the latest monthly index with a comparison from the previous year.

November 2024 Visitor Nights “Flush Index”
% Difference from November, 2023

104,632 +/-
.4% Increase

The “Flush Index” is based on historical wastewater flows measured by the Snyderville Basin Water Reclamation District. Actual methodology involves a statistical model that considers the quantity of wastewater, the strength of wastewater, monthly visitation patterns and an adjustment for rain or snow melt water seeping into the system.
