Capital Improvements Projects
Capital Improvement Projects (CIP) designed and managed by the SBWRD Engineering Department are District-funded projects for wastewater collection system rehabilitation, expansion, or upgrades. Projects planned for 2015 include several small rehabilitation projects in Park City and the Snyderville Basin, and participation with Summit County and Gorgoza Mutual Water Company on road overlays and utility upgrades in Pinebrook. SBWRD will also participate with Park City on the McHenry Avenue OTIS (Old Town Improvement Study) project. Details of the Projects include:
2015 Buckboard Drive Reconstruction
In addition to Summit County’s roadway improvements and Gorgoza Water’s water system improvements, SBWRD will complete repairs and replace approximately 1,200 feet of pipeline on Buckboard Drive. SBWRD will continue to upgrade the wastewater system in Pinebrook in conjunction with future roadway and water system improvements.
2015 Improvement Projects
The District plans to upgrade deficiencies in the following areas: Replace approximately 200 linear feet of wastewater pipeline on Olympic Park Road at SR-224, connect two adjacent wastewater pipelines on Canyons Resort Drive near Red Pine Road, and replace approximately 80 linear feet of wastewater pipeline on Meadows Drive near the intersection of Evening Star Drive (east side of the Park Meadows subdivision). For improved maintenance access manholes will be installed on Silver Meadow Drive in Silver Springs and on Holiday Ranch Loop in Park Meadows.
McHenry Avenue Reconstruction
SBWRD is participating with Park City Municipal Corporation on the McHenry Drive OTIS project. SBWRD will complete repairs and replace approximately 220 feet of pipeline on McHenry Avenue. SBWRD will continue to upgrade the wastewater system in Park City in conjunction with future OTIS projects.
